About Us
VICEBAR is the first Czech company specialising in mobile anaesthesia care. We provide a complete anaesthesia service tailored to the needs of healthcare facilities. Since 2015, we have been delivering safe anaesthesia and expert care to patients and healthcare providers throughout the Czech Republic. Our goal is to make high-quality anaesthesia care available wherever it is needed. We provide a complete anaesthesia team along with all necessary personnel and equipment. Since the company was founded, our services have been used by thousands of patients, including children from the age of one year. We provide every patient with individualised care before, during and after recovery from anaesthesia. Our services are designed for patients, healthcare professionals, and parents or accompanying persons. We also provide education for healthcare professionals and the general public through specialised first aid courses based on the latest international guidelines.

Attending anesthesiologist
MUDr. Robert Šachl
In 2001, he graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague and subsequently began working at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine at the General University Hospital in Prague. He completed his first postgraduate specialist qualification in 2004 and his second in 2015. Between 2004 and 2009, he worked at university hospitals in Ireland. In 2009, he returned to the Department of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine of the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University and the General University Hospital in Prague as a qualified cardiac anaesthesiologist. He lectures on cardiopulmonary resuscitation as part of undergraduate and postgraduate education. He leads seminars and lectures for medical students at the Department of Pharmacology of the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. Since 2015, he has worked at private clinics in Prague and the surrounding area.
In 2020, he founded VICEBAR s.r.o., a mobile anaesthesia service delivering specialised anaesthesia care across the Czech Republic.
Attending nurse
Bc. Helena Šponerová, DiS.
She graduated as a nurse specialising in intensive care and subsequently continued her studies, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2003, she began working at the General University Hospital in Prague (VFN) at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine as a postoperative care nurse in cardiac surgery. In 2005, she transferred to the general anaesthesia department. Since 2011, she has worked at Motol University Hospital in the Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology.
She has been part of the VICEBAR s.r.o. team since 2020, serving as the Head Nurse.
